History of Impact Church 

Impact Church International was started in 1981 under the leadership of Pastors Lester and Donnie Robbins. After answering the call of God to start a new work, they purchased the small Episcopal Church located on the corner of Spring and Cabarrus in downtown Concord and quickly outgrew the facility. A new sanctuary was built at the site in 1992 and today the church operates as a debt free ministry.   Pastors Lester and Donnie are still involved today as President and Vice President Emeritus.

The church now operates under the leadership of Senior Pastor Donna Wise and the ICI staff and continues to move under the direction of the Holy Spirit. 

Impact Church International is apostolic in government, prophetic in guidance, evangelistic in outreach, pastoral in caring for the flock and places highest priority on the teaching of God’s Word in its entirety.   We believe we are to make disciples rather than amass converts.  As we make disciples we believe we will become agents of transformation in our community, in our region and to the far reaches of the world.   This is accomplished as we teach all believers they are to do the work of ministry and to accept their God given mandate to take dominion in the earth. Impact Church International submits to the Apostolic Authority of International Breakthrough Ministries and Apostle Barbara Wentroble.
